Susie really did all the work; including hours and hours shopping for the right trip for us which ended up on the less "touristy" Kauai. Called the Garden Island rated one of the top destinations in the world for the amazing beaches and views.
Usually a place that hyped can be disappointing but Kauai was absolutely amazing and beautiful.Being fairly centrally located (beach wise, you really can't go into the interior), we started off exploring the island in a rental car, going North the first day and South the second day.
Then we took the complete Island tour by helicopter which was a trip of a life time.
Friends and family have asked to see some photos so I'll split it into pages of the North, South and the helicopter tour. First though I'm supposed to add this was Kauai's summer and it was hot and humid so that's why Susie is in a pony tail all the time :), I just turned more grey.
